What type of wall do I need?
- For indoor use: 18/21 mm plywood sheets
- For outdoor use, screen printing plates 18/21 mm
Do I need a wooden grid system?
- With a wall made of a wooden structure, you can mount directly onto the subwall
- For a concrete or brick wall, we recommend a wooden grid behind the wall
Do I need mounting hardware?
- Indoors, a galvanized T-nut is needed every 20 cm (20 cm x 20 cm grid)
- Stainless steel T-nuts are required for outdoor use
- The screw length is correct if it protrudes 2 cm from the handle
How many and what kind of climbing holds do I need?
- Normal wall 7-8 handles per M2
- Boulder wall: 10-12 holds per M2
- Wall for advanced climbers: 18-25 holds per m²
- Handle grips in size M/L are suitable for beginners
- For advanced climbers, we have slopers, crimps and pinches in many sizes.
Which soft landing mat do I need?
- Fall protection mats should extend 2 m in front of the wall to cover the floor (depth dimension)
- They should be half a meter wider on both sides than the wall (width measurement)
- For wall heights up to 2.50 m, we recommend a thickness of 20 cm. Our tested mats have the dimensions: depth 200 cm, width 150 cm, thickness 20 cm.
- For wall heights up to 3.00 m, we recommend a thickness of 30 cm. Our tested mats have the dimensions: depth 200 cm, width 150 cm, thickness 30 cm.
