Perfect Descent - Bodyguard
The Bodyguard was designed to provide optimal protection for the Perfect Descent 220/230 series auto-braking systems, including the Speed Drive and Direct Drive models. The Bodyguard features a damping layer that attaches securely to the auto-braking system, reducing noise and protecting both the housing and your climbing wall from damage. Description Perfect Descent
Budget-friendly:
- Perfect Descent is the cost leader in automatic
fuses, offering the lowest average operating costs over
the lifetime of the device. - The lightweight and compact design reduces shipping costs when
returning devices for factory-authorized service and
recertification. - A growing network of factory-authorized
service centers makes it quick and easy
to keep your equipment up and running and on the wall.
Craftsmanship, safety and innovation:
-
handcrafted
in Colorado, USA, aluminum housing (no plastic) and are never mass-produced
. - Internal components are made of high-quality materials
require little to no maintenance - All devices undergo rigorous quality assurance before shipping
and meet global safety standards.
Versatile and durable device housing:
Perfect Descents are the lightest and most compact modular self-locking devices on the market, a key feature for easy pulling and fitting.
The new multi-point mounting handle offers flexible mounting options and independent securing eyelets. All units are sealed for superior performance in both indoor and outdoor applications.
Lanyards to fall in love with:
Changing the connecting elements takes only a few minutes and can be done on-site by the end user.
Choose the length of the connector that best suits your needs: 8.5 m, 12.2 m or 16.1 m.
High-quality nylon fabric is more user-friendly than cable-based systems and does not damage walls.
The integrated wear indicator eliminates guesswork, so you know when it's time to replace your lanyard.
An anodized aluminum nozzle is integrated into the connector to ensure durability and performance.
Choose from two three-stage, swiveling carabiner options: aluminum for corrosive environments or weight reduction, and steel alloy for durability. Or choose the dual-connection option with a rotating nylon Y-dogbone lanyard and two two-stage, captive pin carabiners made of aluminum.
NOTE : The user can replace long lanyards with shorter ones to accommodate lower mounting heights. Never replace a shorter lanyard with a longer one, as the device will not function correctly. Longer lanyards may only be installed by C3 Manufacturing or an authorized service center.
IMPORTANT : Perfect Descent Auto Belays are designed as controlled descent devices for use in vertical climbing activities and are not suitable for use in jumping activities that generate impact forces. Repeated impact on the device can damage the internal components and, in some cases, cause the device to fail. The lanyard should always be equal to or longer than the expected installation height. Units with an excessively long lanyard may experience improper coiling of the lanyard, which can result in a jerky or rapid descent. Always select the lanyard that best matches the installation height and avoid using long lanyards on short walls.
