Greenholds climbing hold Down Climb Jug
Greenholds Down Climb Jug climbing hold, 100% recyclable. Made from nylon waste
The Down Climb Jug is made from recycled material and is 100% recyclable. It has a pleasantly smooth surface and provides a secure grip. The futuristic-looking, detailed arrow (dual texture) guides climbers safely down. Thanks to our precise digital design process, the jug is perfectly symmetrical. As with all our holds, the robust material eliminates the need for a washer. It is mounted using a DIN 912 M10 socket head cap screw. When tightened to the correct torque on a flat surface, the jug cannot rotate. An additional anti-rotation feature is also included.
Greenholds climbing holds are the first 100% recyclable climbing holds on the market! And it gets even better: The raw material we use (polyamide) comes from waste streams. We do not use any new raw materials in the production of our holds.
All our holds comply with the standard for climbing holds NEN12572-3.

At Greenholds, sustainability is everything. To maximize our impact, we refuse to use thermosets PU or PE (#NoThermosets). Simply because they aren't recyclable. At the end of their life, they become waste... We've broken the mold! A different raw material and a different production method than what's currently on the market! Our climbing holds are made from 100% thermoplastic nylon. And even better, we collect nylon waste for production. We don't use any new material!
We're closing the loop to make a difference!
High-quality construction:
Greenholds are stronger, lighter, and more wear-resistant than other holds. Breakage is impossible. Thanks to their unique surface texture, they offer optimal grip and are easy to clean.
Our R&D department has developed ingenious metal molds for producing various shapes – something unprecedented.
The mechanical properties of the raw materials used for high-quality Greenholds surpass all other existing climbing holds.
